  • Eliana Schroder

    Lead Instructor

Eliana has had a passion for fitness since studying sports medicine in college. Although her career led her into the business world, she continued to personally enjoy exercise in her spare time. After suffering a minor back injury, Eliana sought chiropractic care which provided her a quick remedy, however, she knew there must be a more holistic approach to manage a long-term solution for a healthy spine. That is when she turned to Pilates and fell in love with the practice. Her spine began to realign, she gained strength and was impressed with how Pilates improved her overall well being. Eliana then decided she wanted to teach and inspire others about the wondrous results of Pilates. She is now back at the core of what makes her happy and is eager to help her clients with their particular needs and goals. Whether it is to rehab an injury or cross train to achieve new goals, Pilates is a dynamic exercise combining concentration of the mind and control of the body. Eliana completed her 500 hours Comprehensive Certification at The Pilates Center of Toledo in 2016. With a love for learning, she is dedicated to continued development of her skills; reading, attending many workshops and of course, always being a student.

Vaulters with two of her three children at her farm in Perrysburg. Cathy is an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, an RN, and holds a Master’s Degree from the Johns Hopkins University.

  • Christina Bish

    Instructor

Although I am new to teaching Pilates, I am passionate about my personal practice as I found Pilates reduced my chronic back pain caused by a traumatic injury. I come from a strength and conditioning background, but I have introduced Pilates principles and foundations to my weightlifting routine to help create a stronger core and improve the efficiency of my sport. I have found that Pilates has improved my functional strength as well as overall posture. My favorite part of teaching Pilates is seeing my students challenge themselves as they get stronger and more confident in the abilities of their bodies. When not teaching or doing Pilates, you will find me spending time with my 3 wonderful fur babies, working out alongside my amazing boyfriend, enjoying my favorite coffee, or learning something new.

  • Mary Arend

    Instructor

Mary started with Pilates over 17 years ago. She was asked to take over the Pilates program at her club. Not knowing much about Pilates, she took her first class and was so impressed that 17 years later, she is still going strong and more passionate than ever. Mary was certified through several methods, Stott, Balance Body and Peak. As an avid swimmer, biker, and runner, Pilates has kept her in the competitive world. Gymnastics background, triathlete, Pilates fits the missing puzzle piece. Club Pilates offers everything from Reformer, TRX, Barre, Chair, Bosu, Spring Board and much more. It is rewarding to share my 35 + years in the industry at Club Pilates. The atmosphere is contagious the clients are awesome and willing to learn. Club Pilates has something for everyone, limitless regarding age, fitness level, injuries. The Pilates community is very close and is always welcoming new practitioners! We are all discovering, understanding the mind, body connection and becoming stronger with every class!

  • Brittany Bares

    Instructor

My love for Pilates began while being part of the Sales Team at Club Pilates Perrysburg. Once I began taking classes, I quickly fell in love with the mind-body connection that Pilates creates. Though I have a busy schedule as a graduate student, I turned to Pilates as a form of self-care and as a way to incorporate my education in counseling, into a mindful Pilates practice. As someone who struggles with a poor posture, a common problem in today’s society, I have spent a lot of time sitting at a desk, weakening essential muscles that support my body. Through Pilates, now I have strengthened my postural muscles leading to a better posture and everyday habits. I am currently working, as an Apprentice Instructor, to finish my 500 hour certification through Club Pilates. I look forward to building a rapport with my clients and helping them achieve their goals, whether that be to increase flexibility or to strengthen their postural muscles, all while having a good time during the classes.
